BCA REMINDERS 11/20/08
- GRANDPARENTS DAY for grades 1st - 6th is Tuesday, 11/25 from 9am - 11am!! Please invite a grandparent (or if a grandparents is not available, another special someone) to attend grandparents day next Tuesday. Grandparents should arrive at BCA at 9am. Please RSVP to your child's teacher, so they know how many people to plan for. Each class will provide a continental breakfast. :-)
- Early Dismissal!!! Tuesday, 11/25 we will have Early Dismissal @ 2:15pm. Friendship Company will be open until 6pm as usual, however, you must be registered for this service in advance.
- NO SCHOOL - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (11/26. 11/27, 11/28) - Have a happy Thanksgiving!!!
- BCA Family Night at Burger King on Tussing Rd. Friday, November 28th from 5:30 - 7:30!!! BCA will receive a portion of ALL sales between 5:30 and 7:30 pm this night. Drive thru orders too!!! So if you are out shopping or just tired of turkey, please stop by and show your support to BCA!!!

Our BOOK FAIR is HERE!!!
November 17th - 25th!!!
Please join us during our Book Fair. All classes will be visitng the book fair this week, stay tuned to your classroom newsletters for information on exact dates and times. The Book Fair is open to parents and families (before and after school) at the following times:
Before School
M - T - W - T - F
8:15am - 9:15am
After School
M - W - F
3:15pm - 4:15pm
T - TH
3:15pm - 7:00pm
ALL money raised from the book fair will be used to help rebuild our library reference book section. We need to replace old books as well as purchase new books to supply a decent reference category for our BCA students to learn from.
Upcoming Events at BCA:
Secret Santa Gift Shop
December 8th - 12th.
Brice Christian Academy is happy to abbounce that we will have a Santa's Secret Gift Shop once again this year. The Santa's Secret Gift Shop will allow children to "secretly" purchase Christmas gifts for their loved ones.
Shopping is as easy as 1, 2, 3!!
- Talk with your child and decided who he/she wants to buy gifts for.
- Decide how much money should be spent on each person.
- You will receive an envelope on which you can write the person's name(s) and the amount of money to be spent on each person. (Prices of items range from 50 cents to $6.00, average price per person around $3.50). You will then enclose the total amount of money in the envelope to send in on your child's shopping day (please make checks payable to BCA or Brice Christian Academy).
- Parents discuss ahead of time if your child may purchase something small for themselves.
You will be notified of your child's shopping day when the envelope is sent home.
We need several parent/grandparent volunteers to help the children shop. The Santa's Secret Gift Shop will be open on Monday, December 8th through Friday, December 12th and the classes will rotate every 45 minutes.
